I love to use my KitchenAid mixer, because I’m always cooking up something. The same applies to my approach to marketing and public relations; I take a look at the new and figure out the recipe to drive success using the tools that will have the most impact.
For over eight years, as a professional and as an intern, I’ve taken that principle to my current position and past positions as well at a Fortune 500 company and a start up public relations agency.
Currently, I’m the Marketing and Public Relations Manager for ODW Logistics, a $100M supply chain company, headquartered in Columbus, OH with offices in Los Angeles, Chicago and Milwaukee.
My experiences are primarily in healthcare, supply chain and logistics, fashion and education. I consider myself as a jack-of-all-trades communicator, with specialization in public relations and writing for multiple platforms, including social media.
I’ve been featured in or secured placement in the Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal Online, Glamour, Riverside Press-Enterprise (California), Inbound Logistics, Food Logistics, Cincinnati Business Courier, Columbus Business First, DC Velocity, Smart Business, Transportation and Logistics International, San Bernardino County Sun, Transport Topics, Dayton City Paper, Springfield News-Sun, Springfield B2B, AOL Wallet Pop, MSN Money and more.
I received a bachelor’s degree in communication, with a minor concentration in journalism, from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. In addition, I’ve attended professional courses in social media through The Ohio State University, Ragan Communications, PRSA and IWLA. In 2012, I also published my first eBook, “Young Profashionable: A User Manual for the Real World,” available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
